I never know what to say about myself.

I started writing when I was 5 when I began copying my mom's groceries lists.  The first lesson I learned about critics is never tell one you write better than she does.  That was my big sister.  She was seven.  I have scars.

I'm all grown up now.  Proud mother and grandma. You can't see my gray hair in the picture.  Ah, but it's there anyway.  Gosh durn it.  (My grandson and I have a bargain, we can't say cuss words.)

I have a website, patienthands, com, for family caregivers, but I haven't posted to it since my oldest son passed from cancer, two years ago.  I intend to resurrect it.

I look at hubpages as a way to write a little and meet some great people who have a lot of varied interests.  I need to learn a lot more about web publishing before I can get my website going and this seems like a great place to start.

On my other writing front, I'm working on a novel.  I write fantasies.  The novel is going well, the best ever, in fact, and it will most likely end up in a box in the closet, with the rest.  I love the process of writing.  I'm just not sure I'll like the process of turning writing into a business.  This is another way I hope hubpages will help me out.

Well, that's mostly me in a thumbnail.
